Le 3eme Oeil / Hier, Aujourd'hui, Demain (3LP Coloured) ONLY 200 IN THE UK
Le 3ème Œil is a French hip hop group from Marseille consisting of rappers Boss One and Jo Popo, and until 1999 two DJs, DJ Ralph and DJ Bomb.
Paying homage to their Comorian roots, they consider themselves journalists whose sole mission is to report the reality of what is happening in
their community. Arguably their biggest break was when the legendary French director Luc Besson approached them to record a track for the
soundtrack of Taxi, the first film in the hugely successful franchise about a talented taxi driver helping the police to catch a gang of bank robbers.
A year later they recorded their debut album Hier, Aujourd'hui, Demain, selling 160.000 copies. Even though it was an undeniable success,
the record was never reissued, making it somewhat of a rarity of French underground hip hop. Now, after more than 25 years, it's
available again on vinyl for the first time. If you are a fan of Suprême NTM and MC Solaar, you can't miss this.
Hier, Aujourd'hui, Demain is available as a limited edition on gold coloured vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics.
